Q: Is there a limit to how much text I can engrave on my item?
There is no specific limit, as we can reduce the text size to fit more on your item. However, smaller texts can be difficult for some people to read. Therefore, we recommend using a text size appropriate for your item. For example, if you're engraving on a smaller item like a pen or cheese knife, your text should be no smaller than 12pt font.
For emblems and crests, we have the following limits per box to ensure the integrity of each image.
• Small medal box: 1 image
• Medium medal box: 1-2 images
• Large medal box: 1-3 images
• A4 presentation box: Go crazy - this box fits heaps of images!
Q: Can you guarantee I will receive my product by a specific date?
We will certainly try to meet your delivery timelines; however, we cannot guarantee postal times. Once we've dispatched your order through Australia Post, the responsibility is with them to deliver. We find that their service is typically very good. We will forward your tracking details so that you can track your items' arrival.
Q: Can I add any additional engraving details at a later date?
It is quite challenging to add additional text once an item has already been engraved. It could ruin your product if we are 1mm out of alignment with the existing engraved details. For this reason, we do not add additional engraving. To avoid this, we do not start engraving until we have received your approval on the artwork, so please make sure you check the artwork carefully before approving.
Q: Can I provide you with our corporate logo to engrave?
Yes, we can engrave your logo onto our products. Please send us a high-definition, black-and-white line art format, which is the best version for us to convert successfully for engraving.
Q: Can Murphy's of Healesville post my item internationally?
Absolutely; our website will automatically update the product prices to your local currency. When you add your address for shipping, our website will add the international postage fee for your country.
